Why dealers lose leads between the call and the survey
The gap between the first conversation and the site visit is where most leads go cold.
Leads rarely disappear because of the market. They disappear in the handoff. A caller books a visit, the surveyor arrives without context, and the customer repeats everything they already said.
Three small fixes close most of the gap. Give every lead one owner. Set a next follow-up on every call, so nothing waits on someone's memory. And let the surveyor see the notes before they leave for the site.
None of this needs a big project. It needs one shared pipeline that the caller, the surveyor and the owner all look at, instead of three chats and a spreadsheet.
